Our principles for collecting data are: When we collect Browser data, the individual rights of the Customer must be protected. All Browser data must be collected and processed in a legal and fair manner. The personal data of the Customer must be processed only for specific purposes.

What data we collect, receive, and process
NETECTIVE may collect and receive several different types of Browser data with Customer’s, and employee specific data for various purposes. This data may include, but is not limited to:
• First name and last name
• Browsing data
• Phone Number
• Address, State, Province, ZIP/Postal code, City

How we use data
NETECTIVE uses the collected Browser data for various purposes:
• To provide you with requested services
• To store Browser data  in a safe SOC2, Type II cloud environment
• To provide customer support
• We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

Legal basis for collecting data
NETECTIVE’s legal basis for collecting and using the Browser data which contain internet browsing data described in this Data Protection Policy depends on the personal data we collect and the specific context in which we collect the information:
• NETECTIVE needs to perform a contract with you
• You have given NETECTIVE permission to do so
• Processing your Browser data is in NETECTIVE’s legitimate interests
• NETECTIVE needs to comply with the law

Retention of personal data
NETECTIVE will retain your Browser Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Data Protection Policy. NETECTIVE will retain and use your information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

Security
Wherever we collect sensitive information (such as credit card data), that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a closed lock icon at the bottom of your web browser or looking for “https” at the beginning of the address of the web page.

Customer
Customer means the Customer who has requested and is receiving NETECTIVE services.

Browser means an internet browser which is used to access the internet. Examples of a Browser, but not limited to are; Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, and Brave.
